A slightly older bottle thanks to Lt.Dan. Pours with with a hazed gold body. Aroma still haze a decent amount of citrus hop aromas, a bit of tea and caramel, bread rounding it out. Taste has a touch of oxidation (presenting itself as dried coconut), but still some resilient citrus hops, a bit herbal, and tons of caramel. Not a bad bottle. Lively bubbles, a bit thin. Nice.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Ughsmash (6666) - Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 5, 2009
Bomber. Poured clear medium golden with a short cap of off-white head. The aroma picked up earthy and caramel sweetness with a touch of smoke.. pine and orangey hoppage around.. a little detergent-like as it warmed up. The flavor found tart citrus juice on the tip of the tongue followed by semi-sweet caramel and pale malts.. more orangey bitterness and detergent surrounded.. finished with tacky, non-descript malts and citrus bitterness. Medium-ish bodied and slick across the palate.. sharp on the back-half, and it didn’t flow that well.. drinkable, but not that good.

22oz bomber. Golden color with lasting white head. Full pine with slightly citrus hop bite to the nose. Big mouth full of hop bitterness with a bit of hop flavor. Midway some malt sweetness surfaces to march this beer down to a fairly balanced finish, well, moderately hoppy finish.

Bottle (650ml). Shared with blankboy and tupalev, my bottle. Slightly hazy orange with a small foamy white head. Mild, pleasant orange juice and mild hop aroma - simple. Simple taste too - orange juice, hops, mild alcohol, slightly woody - well-blended and nicely bitter in the medium finish. Perhaps a little weak bodied, but nice astringency, mild carbonation - just a solid session APA.
