Heavy lacing from the one finger darkened tan head. Aroma of hops by the bushel with a caramel malt infused- very impressed, hard to create. Hits the mouth with a high-medium body, malt is slightly sweetened, hops and caramel come in middle- sort of a funky burning sweet sensation, finish does linger, which is good. All over the map, but makes me want chase anything in sight, so it can’t be that bad! YEAH!!!

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 5, 2010 22oz bomber. Darker than normal stained-glass reddish-brown. Sweet fresh aroma Fluffy, lasting beige head. Thick and malty, almost like a Scotch Ale in some respects. This is one of the better Ambers I’ve had in awhile. Creamy, almost remains medium bodied. Quite drinkable, albeit with a sweet and sticky bitter aftertaste. Lots of caramel and amber malt tastes, well executed. kidmartinek (1004), austin, Texas, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 7/20 | Dec 20, 2009 Plum colored in the glass in the lig, brown in the dark. Head is a pathetic 1/8" taupe. Aroma of english malt and hops, kent golding or fuggles? Molasses taste with sugar and a bitter finish. I just don’t dig these styles. Ughsmash (4103), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 29, 2009 Bomber. Poured deep garnety-amber with a creamy cap of beige head.. sticky lacing as it descended. The aroma picked up toasty redder fruits and raisins paired with a huge hop presence (spicy pine and more fruity notes).. some residual molasses and toffee character on the back. The flavor found red fruits, caramel, and molasses at the core, again with big bitterness around.. pine and some grapefruit this time.. finished with a lot of residual sugars and spicy bitterness. Medium-bodied and quite bitter on the palate.. the malts kind of fell apart on the back-end.. OK feel and flow.

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 7, 2009 Hazy amber color on the pour. Smells like apples, figs, apple sauce. Well done. Sour flavor and a bitter finish. Like the smell of the aromas. Flavor sucks. Good label. ScottyP (328), Brentwood, Tennessee, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 7, 2009 Pours a clear deep amber with a frothy off white head. Aroma of citrus, caramel malts, hops. Similar taste, very sweet/syrupy. Kind of uninteresting actually.
