3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma is malt. Just kidding, but there is some malt nose. Itís grapefruity hop and a bit of resin. Ripe stone fruit color, pretty translucent, likely unfiltered. Not much head, but it laces in thin little lines. Starts with hop, quickly becoming grapefruity, but thereís enough malt to make a strong impact. However, no doubt about the finish; bitter all the way. Maybe some malt sticks through the finish, but itís questionable.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Poured clear dark copper color with an average frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate to heavy complex earthy hop aroma. Medium to full body with slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy smooth bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. My expectations where met.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
A: The pour is a rich copper color with two fingers of white foam that quickly dissipates. Sadly, this is the best feature of the beer.
S: Some slight pine to the aroma and quite a bit of malt. Disappointingly mild citrus.
T: Much more malty than I would have hoped for/expected (more along the lines of a barleywine). I donít often use this descriptor, but itís very earthy--like dirt.
M: The body is medium but the carbonation is somewhat low.
D: This is another drain pour for me, I just couldnít get overly the incredibly earthy taste of this beer.

Bottled. Dark amber coloured. Unclear. Dense off white head. Herbs, light pine, flower, light citrus in the aroma. Flavour is piney, caramelly, sweet, flowery and has a light citric touch. Medium to full bodied. Dry. Ends on a dry sweet bitterness. Quite refreshing and easy to drink. ABV well hidden.

courtesy of fiulijn - dark blond-orange colour with a persistent beige foam; nice lace; solidly hoppy with notes of flowers and cream; moderate carbonation and with a solid malt body; slightly sticky; very robust bitterness, long and very bitter flowery finish - a one-dimensional hop bomb

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle... Clear, orange ale with a large, frothy, off-white head. Excellent retention. The nose is pink grapefruit pulp floating in a vat of freshly squeezed island fruit and tangerine. Bitter as hell and fruity. The nice, solid, caramel malt backbone is only an afterthought as the lupulin clings to the back of my tongue and throat until my mouth is numb and my wind pipe is all but "cut-off." Ok, maybe I exagerrate, but the brew is really very bitter. Full-bodied and dry with lively carbonation. A hopheadís dream beer! Thanks go out to DarkElf for the bottle!

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured a dark ruby red color with an averaged sized, frothy off white head. Aromas of light oranges, pine and grapefruit. Tastes of pine, grapefruit with a trace of malts. Bitter bite. I expected little more of a sweet, malty balance for an IIPA. Body was a little on the thin and watery side as well. Alcohol content hidden.
