COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dark lager with caramel sweet touch flavor, endowed with soft bitterness and ruby color. Czech beer brewed using traditional technology, fermented in open fermenting cellars and maturing in low temperatures in tanks in beer storage cellars. Our Dark lager is regularly awarded at the most prestigious degustation competitions including the first place in Czech Beer of the year competition repeatedly in 2008 and 2009.

500 ml bottle. Finland. Dark brown colour with medium tan head. Sweetish burned aroma with some caramel. Sweet, slightly burned malty flavour with some metallic notes.

Bottle at home. Clear red brown coloured with a medium sized off white head. Very sweet aroma of caramel and molasses. Sweet flavour of caramel, molasses and hops with notes of metal. Hoppy and metallic finish.

50cl bottle at home. pours very dark brown, with a very nice looking brown head. Almost like a porter, aroma is brown sugar, syrup and slightly buttery. flavor is faint licorice, burnt stuff (lightly to moderately burnt), faint charchoal, caramel. end result is grilled caramel with some ashes on it. quite a lot to explore in the tasting sensation.

50 cl bottle at Skallerup Klit. Very deep reddish brown color, nice but disappering tan head. Aroma is roasted and caramel malt. Flavor is the same, with sweetness and dried fruit.

(6/24/08) Draught at Pivovarsky Klub in Prague. As "Rebel Tmavy Lezak". Dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of malt, light roastiness and coffee notes. Sweet caramelly flavor with some coffee. Medium-bodied. Nice.
