Bottle: Very deep ruby-amber colour with a smaller, almost creamy stable sandy head, deep fruity (dried dark berries) and coffeeish-roast-malty nose; robust bitter-sweet flavour, medium-bodied; lingering sweet-caramelly finish, rounde by some sweet-malty bitterness. Very good stuff.......

(Bottled) Very dark brown with a medium, light beige head. Mild, moderately roasty aroma with some chocolate. Neutral, somewhat roasty flavor with some lactic sourness and hints of chocolate and licorice. Light to medium-bodied, a bit creamy palate with balanced carbonation. A quite balanced and enjoyable, but basic dunkel.

Bottle. Creamy lightbrown excellent fully lasting head. Brown colour. Powerfull malty toasted aroma, with nioce chocolate notes. moderate sweet and bitter flavor. Long nice finish. Slightly metallic at the end. Creamy palate. Really nice dunkel.

UPDATED: MAY 1, 2008 Bottle, from Føtex, Aabenraa. A great dark brown with a medium brownish creamy head. The head stays for a good while and leaves a good amount of lacing. Aroma has roasted caramel and maltyness. A touch watery mouthfeel. Flavour is great with chocolate, a little smoke and a good dose of sweet roasted malts. 7/4/7/2/14 = 3.4

Bottle. Average beige fizzy head that mostly diminished. Clear sparkling body with a dark mahogany color. Aroma of toasted malt, butter, caramel, soft brown sugar. The sniff lives the impression of a week Malt beer. Medium bodied with an average carbonation. Light to moderated sweet flavor with light bitter notes. Light sweet finish. Quit nice.

Bottle from Peculier Pub, NYC. Pours a deep reddish-brown to almost black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malt with slight other characteristics. Flavor is roasted malt up front dissolving into hop, chocolate, and caramel notes in the end. Not bad, but not spectacular either.
