COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dark lager with caramel sweet touch flavor, endowed with soft bitterness and ruby color. Czech beer brewed using traditional technology, fermented in open fermenting cellars and maturing in low temperatures in tanks in beer storage cellars. Our Dark lager is regularly awarded at the most prestigious degustation competitions including the first place in Czech Beer of the year competition repeatedly in 2008 and 2009.

(6/24/08) Draught at Pivovarsky Klub in Prague. As "Rebel Tmavy Lezak". Dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of malt, light roastiness and coffee notes. Sweet caramelly flavor with some coffee. Medium-bodied. Nice.

Bottle.Pours dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of caramel, raisins, malt and coffee. Flavor is sweet and malty with some caramel, coffee and licorice. Medium to thin body, average carbonation.

Bottled(500ml). -Pale brown coloured, medium sized off white head, burnt sugar nose. Heavy sweet caramel and mollasses taste with metallic notes in sugary finish. Some discreet hoppy hints.

Sampled at Copenhagen Beerfestival.Pours deep brown, next to black with a big nice looking tan head.Aroma of brown sugar and syrup. Taste has some weak liquorice hidden amongst the light burnt caramel. Easy forgotten.

500 ml bottle, bought in Denmark. ABV is 4.7%. Mahogany coloured beer, huge and lasting beige head. Pleasant aroma of caramel and bakery. Malty flavour with notes of caramel, brown bread and slightly burnt toast. A moderate but noticeable bitterness in the aftertaste.

Draught at Vihreä Haltiatar, Jyväskylä. Reddish black color with tan creamy head. Sweet aroma of toffee and sugar. Sweet, sugary, toffeish, caramelly, slightly roasty and bready flavor with notes licorice. Too sweet and sugary.

(Bottled) Very dark brown with a medium, light beige head. Mild, moderately roasty aroma with some chocolate. Neutral, somewhat roasty flavor with some lactic sourness and hints of chocolate and licorice. Light to medium-bodied, a bit creamy palate with balanced carbonation. A quite balanced and enjoyable, but basic dunkel.
