(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a clear mahogany with a warm, reddish hue. Handsome, tall and creamy, beige head leaving a pretty lacework as it dissipates. Aroma of roasted malt. Medium-bodied - at the most - with sweetish, roasted malt and a lightly burned edge. Not much bitterness to be found on the palate, but very rounded and pleasant. 260506

50cl bottle at home. pours very dark brown, with a very nice looking brown head. Almost like a porter, aroma is brown sugar, syrup and slightly buttery. flavor is faint licorice, burnt stuff (lightly to moderately burnt), faint charchoal, caramel. end result is grilled caramel with some ashes on it. quite a lot to explore in the tasting sensation.

0,5 l bottle from Pivo Söröző, Budapest.
Clear deep brown beer with some ruby tones in the body, medium goodlokin’ foamy tan-light beige head that stays on the surface. Moderated aroma with some liqourice, some roasted malt, caramel and molasses. Medium bodied one, roasted grains leads the slip, after that comes the caramel, some coffee/cocoa, herbal hops in the finish. Light roasted aftertaste.

bluevegie (3059) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - MAY 27, 2010
Dark brown body, almost black with a lasting light tan head. Nose is a little sweet, milk chocolate, coffee and a hint of smoke. Taste is pretty similar to the aroma with just some bitterness helping out.
