Pale lager endowed with pleasant aroma composedly combining hops and malt flavors with a refreshing bitter touch fade-out. Richness, relish and full foam typical for Czech beer brewed using traditional technology, fermented in open fermenting cellars and maturing in low temperatures in tanks in beer storage cellars.

Bottle. A clear, golden beer with a quite small white head. Quite neutral aroma, but some caramel and fruityness can be detected. Rather sweet in the mouth, without being sugary, it’s more of the fruity sweetness. Some caramel as well. Medium body, and a decent hoppy finish that is rather dry. Slightly papery feeling as the beer fades out. Is theresome tropical fruits as well? Anyhow, the beer failed to impress me. It’s sure drinkable, but it’s not a beer I will repeat. (080618)

Draught, as ’Svelty Lezak 12...’, Pivni Galerie. Looking at the other ratings, I think this must have been an unfiltered/unpasteurised version. Pale gold haze wafting with citrus and sulphur like a cask English Golden Ale. Intense ganja leafiness as it warms. Wow. Clean, crisp and a bit lemony, with biscuity pale malt afters. Sweetish, simple, hoppy and good.
