Pale lager endowed with pleasant aroma composedly combining hops and malt flavors with a refreshing bitter touch fade-out. Richness, relish and full foam typical for Czech beer brewed using traditional technology, fermented in open fermenting cellars and maturing in low temperatures in tanks in beer storage cellars.

Draught (as Rebel Premium, the handmade pubclip said 4.9%). Ambery golden colour with small white head. Aroma is grainy and slightly diacetylic with some slight hoppy hints. Flavour is grass, malts and some hops along with slight toffeeish notes. Mouthdrying palate.

Draught at Řlbaren, Copenhagen
Blond color; generous creamy head. Mild aroma, grainy, a bit honeish, and with some hay. The body is quite light, mostly evident in the weak ending; there is an ordinary flavor of cereals and hay; the bitterness level is respectable, but without discernable hop qualities. Quite boring.

Bottle. A clear, golden beer with a quite small white head. Quite neutral aroma, but some caramel and fruityness can be detected. Rather sweet in the mouth, without being sugary, it’s more of the fruity sweetness. Some caramel as well. Medium body, and a decent hoppy finish that is rather dry. Slightly papery feeling as the beer fades out. Is theresome tropical fruits as well? Anyhow, the beer failed to impress me. It’s sure drinkable, but it’s not a beer I will repeat. (080618)

(Stockholm Beer Festival 2005) Golden, with a quite small head. Malty aroma with grassy notes. Malty flavor at first, then it turns hoppy and the finish is quite bitter. An ok pilsener, but not more...
