2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
0.5 l bottle from local supermarket. Clear dark yellow colour with normal head. Taste has malts and some sugar. Basically a crap beer made for export. Label has the ingredients and other useful information only in Czech: this has added sugar, hop extract and it is pasteurized, so it is not the real thing. I hope the beer for the domestic market is better than this.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Pale yellow with medium foamy whitish head, crisp malt aroma, slightly sweet taste, low carbonation, abrupt finish. It was interesting at the st art but quickly became boring and flat.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Rebel Beer has a very thick, overflowing, slightly off-white head, a deep golden, bubbly, mostly clear appearance, with larger and smaller tan chunks suspended top to bottom, and heavy lacing left on the glass. The aroma is of medium-toasted malt, slight citrus, and grassy hops. Taste is of sweet & sour, medium-toasted malts, grassy hops, and bread dough. The mouthfeel is light to medium, and Rebel Beer finishes crisp, clean, and refreshing. RJT

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pretty much a standard pils. True to style. Balance of saaz hops and light caramel maltiness. Finishes dry with some hay. A good Czech pils.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Really nothing to write home about here.
Pours a crystal clear light amber with limited head.
Nose is a heavy pils malt that isn't unpleasant and has a bit of hops in the background.
Medium body with great effervescence come through with good malt/hop balance with hops just barely coming through. Clean finishing with mild bitterness.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
500 ml bottle as Czech Rebel @ Fox and Hound, Ĺbenraa. Clear golden body with an off-white head. Aroma has light malt and hint of hops. Flavor is sweet malt, some caramel, hint of butterscotch and moderate bitterness. Medium body and a bit short in aftertaste. Drinkable and probably not bad for a Czech pilsner, but not my thing really.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Clear straw gold, small bubbly white head. Nose has a lot of minerals, malty sweetness, noble hops. Flavor is smooth malts, caramel, mild noble hops in the finish. Pretty plain.
