Orange/bronze colour. Bready malt aroma, with some soft hop. Malty, fruity and sweetish flavour, becoming drier on the finish. The mouthfeel wasn’t very substantial but, otherwise, rather pleasant. Cask (gravity dispense), Twickenham Beer Festival 2004.

Served on Hand Pump from the Cask at The Alexandra Hotel in Derby, with a sparkler. Mid Brown in colour. Nothing special but a decent beer all the same

Top quality supping beer. Fruity and malty basis for the solid taste with sweetness and some bitterness coming through. Well brewed and tasty beer. (Cask at Alexandra, Derby)
