3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Copper with a tight beige head; malty aroma; soft with a malty flavour and a lasting, gently bitter, finish. Decent enough, but rather boring. Rebellion seemed to be trapped in the "must produce a new beer every month" mindset, rather than trying to make beers that are different or better.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
[Cask at the Bootlegger, High Wycombe] Amber, moderate white head. Fruity malt with a hint of sulphur & some leaf mulch. Boring again from Rebellion.

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Hand pulled cask at the Moon & Sixpence (JDW) Hatch End. Amber with a white head. Malt dominated with a touch of tangerine in a restrained hoppy finish. Too similar to regular beers. Rebellion are consistantly predictable and predictably boring at the moment.
