Cask; Regular
A copper coloured, easy drinking beer, with considerable depth and complexity. A well balanced malt & fruit flavour continues to a long, refreshing & crisp finish

Cask at GBBF08. OK fruity aroma. Clear copper colour. Good fruitiness in the flavour, well balanced by rough hoppiness.

Handpulled cask at JDW Harrow. Too dark and weak to be a real IPA. Good condition with lacy head. Slightlt tinny flavour with hints of blackcurrants. Not the most interesting Rebellion beer I’ve tried.

[on draught at The Stag, Flackwell Heath, Bucks] Nothing like an IPA - this is a best bitter, but not a bad one. Strong maltiness dominates, with more than a hint of red fruits in there. The usual Goldings musty straw flavour comes through in the aftertaste. Vibrant flavours considering the low ABV.

Cask at Merton Summer Beer Festival, September 2004 Going back through my travel log and Merton Beer Festival information tonight and picking up those that escaped entering first time around. Pours copper in colour (like the description states) bit too wishy washy for an IPA but fine enough for a session ale if a little unexciting.

A Sim rate (cask at Kent BF): So very regular. Smells pretty hoppy with slight malt. Tastes malty, but not much else. Blah!

This stuff is terrible! Buttery nutty toffee malts. Thin ti a level which makes it not a beer, rubbish, and how can they get away with the ipsa, british brewers do it as people buy the name but wtf is this!
