Feb 11, 2007 Old notes from 2002. You’d need to drink a fair bit of this to get legless. A fairly standard session bitter. The emphasis is on dry malt with some earthy hop elements. Perfectly drinkable but not too distinctive.

Apr 11, 2002 Sampled cask conditioned. Dark amber. Ashy aroma with a hint of hay. Light bodied, on the sweet side. Not much flavour and low bitterness. Salty finish. I expect more from a British cask ale.
