Cask; Seasonal - February to May.
Reflecting the images of the forthcoming spring season, this beer is light in colour, crisp and refreshing, with a delicate floral aroma, brought on by the First Gold, Fuggles and Goldings hops used.

Draught. A very nice summer beer. Pale golden colour, with small white head. Floral hoppy aroma, with a suggestion of citrus fruit. Fairly light bodied considering it is 4.7%. Bitter, refreshing finish.

Cask@Reading Beer Festival 2012. Slightly hazy goldeny orange colour with a small fluffy head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is sweet and bready malts along with some slight herbal and floral notes. Flavour is quite similar with also some mild nutty and grassy notes. Pleasantly bitter and dry.

[Cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading] Pours pale amber with a thin white head. Smell and initial taste of straw with floral hints, developing into the usual Fuggles farmyard. Very bitter. Lemon comes through in the finish. Rather thin, and not enough sweet malt to balance out the harsh bitterness. Lacks balance, and not up to Rebellion’s normal standard, but still OK.

Cask at Three Horsehoes, Marlow, Bucks. This place is effectively the brewery tap for Rebellion. Pale gold pour with a medium head. Floral, hoppy aroma. Tastes quite refreshing, hoppy, citrus fruit, crisp. A decent enough spring ale, a little more complexity would have been welcome.

Cask at Merton Beer Festival, Winter Beer Festival 2005 Going back through my travel log and Merton Beer Festival information tonight and can’t believe I’ve missed so many out. A lovely spring beer, light golden, crisp and refreshing poured with a nice white quickly disappearing head, and as I recall a popular beer at Mertons first Beer Festival, I rather liked this beer.

Cask handpump at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading. Straw with a white head; smells of oranges; and tastes of orange marmalade; sweet and tart at the same time, finishing with a short, sharp, bitter burst.
