2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle, 5.0%. Bad lager aroma. Clear dark grey/copper colour Stable head. The flavour is OK malty, slightly rough. Slight anis aftertaste. There is no yeast in the appearance, but the flavour has some baker’s yeast. Not the nice, naturtrüby kind.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
50cl bottle from The Grove, Huddersfield. Drunk on train from Huddersfield to Sheffield listening to Neil Diamond. Deep amber gold, thin lasting off white head. Buttery wheaty cereally aroma. Yes, decent in mouth, but a bit unbalanced in malts and butter. Not great to be honest

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottled (BB 10/2009)
Hazy orange color, small white head. For German lager quite interesting aroma: some orange peels, grains, yeast and slight hint of diacetyl. Flavor is quite similar: grainy over fruity orange-peach-apple sweetness, herbal hops. Medium-bodied. Really interesting German brew, not maybe so enjoyable, but not very common Kellerbier flavorwise.
