COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Red Angus is a pure grain fed Pilsener bred from the best materials the world has to offer. Wrestle the lid off and discover the benefits of 5 malted grains giving a unique and full flavoured profile. No less than 3 classic hops are used, giving a wild profusion of spicy and fruity aromas. A long slow fermentation brings these characteristics together for a classy and intruiging Pilsener. Enjoy!

I have to say, I was expecting complete shit but instead got surprised by a semi decent pilsner. I’d have this again if the oppurtunity arose

Very passable beer. Good color, quite malty and enough hops to keep things interesting. Not a bad Pilsener at all

Bottle. Pours a really nice golden straw with smallish cream coloured head. Looks really nice in the glass. Grain malt aromas offset excellent noble hop aromas. Really floral nose. THe hops tend to dominate the flavours and the finish is reasonably bitter and dry. Good beer.

330mL. Poured a clear straw with a large, rocky, healthy white head. Excellent lace. Aroma is muted but massively on target: grassy hops, lemon, florals, zesty. Taste is grainy, oatmeal, rye malt, grassy, bitter. Not super drying on the palate. But really spot on.

UPDATED: JUN 27, 2010 doesnt seem like a pilsner at all. Correction, (may have been bottled and poured by the waitress before she brought it over) tried in a pub in wynyard station, all i really noticed was a slightly hoppy and bitter finish

Sl cloudy light golden, good persistent head. Light sweaty / grassy nose. Tight carbonation and a lemon pepper dominated palate with notes of saurkraut almost. Cleans and dries, maybe a hint of dms. More going for it than I had imagined.
