COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The 15th Anniversary ale is Red Brick’s signature Brown Ale. The Brown Ale boasts a list of ingredients, including 7 malts (Victory, Bonnalander, Caramel 40/60/120, 2 Row Barley, Wheat Malt). Hops include Zeus and Fuggle. Aged in Pappy Van Winkle bourbon barrels for 13 months.

Our 15th anniversary is here! I know we never say it, but I’m gonna throw it out there: I LOVE YOU. That felt good. I was afraid it would sound creepy, but no - it was good. And as a sign of our love I made you The Red Brick 15th Anniversary Ale. It’s a full bodied brown ale that was aged in a bourbon barrel. It earned the Gold Medal in the 2008 World Beer Cup. (Not that I’m comparing them to you...) it’s high gravity, so be careful: I want this to be a memorable experience for us. Sincerely, Bob - XOXO

Clear medium brown. Not really any head. Aroma really is just straight up bourbon. Flavor is surprisingly of rather rich malt, not overwhelmed at all by bourbon. Finish moves nicely into integrated bourbon and oak notes. Really ver balanced and well done.

Bottle from TBS.. Shared at SL...Pours a light orange/red color. Small head... Aroma of some vanilla and alcohol. Taste is a sweet vanilla, oaky, strong malty ale. Not bad, just not my favorite style. The texture isnt thick at all...suprisely light. Thanks matt for the brew

Bottle. Pours an amber body with a brune off white head. Malty nutty and chewy, light roast and vanilla. Obvious bourbon, light woody, a rye and whiskey like modest warming. A decent strong ale.

On bottle at the 2010 installment of Stogies and Stouts pouring deep copper – sort of brown-ish with thin tan head. The aroma is chocolaty and then picks up large sums of whiskey-ness as well as a light sense of wood. The taste is sweet and kind of bourbony with a little bit of wood along the edges. It then picks up notes of sweet malts sweetness, a thin layer of molasses and then more and more sweet and mildly harsh bourbon booze into the finish.

Bottle thanks to kp: Pours a transparent copper amber with a small, spotty-lacing off-white head. Aroma of sweet toasty complex caramel and vanilla bourbon with a touch of black cherry fruitiness. Starts with pretty good fullness for the style and sweet dark caramel maltiness and doughy nutty notes with nice oaky bourbon and vanilla before a drier, toasty finish. A nice bourbon brown ale.

Bottle @ Dunedin for Stogies and Stouts ’10. pours copper/brown, no head. Aroma lots of bourbon in this one, barrel/wood aroma, roasted malts and caramel. Flavor, lingering bourbon flavors and oak barrel. Light malty palate with hints of nuts. Sweet caramel with a mild coffee finish. Thought the palate was a little too thin for 9% abv.
