COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
20th Anniversary, Brick Mason Series #7, is an Imperial Stout aged in bourbon barrels. We are celebrating our milestone anniversary with a milestone beer that will be the strongest beer in brewery’s history. Rich chocolate and roasted flavors are balanced by sweet caramel malts. Bourbon barrels provide big bourbon notes supported by flavors of oak and vanilla. This beer commemorates Red Brick Brewing Company’s 20 year brewing tradition. And while we’re focused on the future, we’ll never forget our humble beginnings.

Ok, I got this due to a brewery salesman at the beer store. He gave me a glass with the four pack so I was pretty psyched. The good thing is the beer stands up on its own. It pours black as the devil’s soul with a small tan head. The scent is vanilla and dark chocolate. The flavor is a chocolate bomb. There are some slight bourbon undertones but nothing overwhelming. This beer is legit and I am surprised I have not heard more out of them since I live in Georgia where this is brewed. I will keep an eye out for redbrick.

Bottle thanks to Rick. Pours a dark brown with medium beige head that lasts. The aroma is roasted malt, wood, vanilla, bourbon. Medium body, roast, vanilla, boozy finish, decent.

Growler. Pleasantly surprised here. Big vanilla and toasty malt. Bittersweet chocolate flavors. Good balance, sweetness, and presence. One of the best I have had from these guys.

Bottle - Pours oil black with a thin ring of tan head. Nose is brown sugar, molasses, bourbon, and sweet dark malt. Taste is brown sugar, a bit of ash stuck behind a big molasses base. Marshmallows and chocolate. Slick and medium-thin. Mellow carbonation. Just too big of a beer for me, but I don’t like the style.

From 12oz bottle Pours almost balks with just a touch of tan head. Chocolate malt aroma. Ditto on the taste, with a bit of bourbon on the aftertaste. Chocolate comes out clearer in the aftertaste, too. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
