On tap at Nashville’s Music City Brew Festival. Just off amber color. Pretty simple and not much to say about this one.

12oz bottle-Pours a dark amber with a decent off whtie head. Aroma of malt, nuts, and caramel. Taste of the same with a bit of extra sweetness thrown in. This light bodied (not full like the label says) is a pretty run of the mill brown ale.

pours dark copper read with a thick sticky head. aroma is nutty and malty. flavor is same, with some butterscotch and cocoa flavors. finish is a little oily with a heavy brown sugar aftertaste. very good, a little too sweet but a nice beer otherwise.

This is a very nutty, nutty, brown ale. Smell and taste the nuts. Not really my style ale but good and possibly great if it is what you like.

Pours a copper ruby brown with a one finger lite tan head. The nose is sweet, malty, caramel, mildly nutty, English feel. Flavor is nutty, some soy, sweet, caramel malt, mild hop character. Palate has a crisp bite.

sample on 6/14/09. pours a pale brown. sweet, honey like nutty aroma... kinda different from most Brown Ales. the body is pretty thin and the the overly sweet character really ruins this one for me.

TheBeerBaron (261) - Florida, USA - MAY 31, 2009
Medium brown hue, small fading white head that looks like a Dr. Pepper in a glass. Aroma is sweet and malty with a honey sugar edge. Yes again its like a cola. Taste is hearty and malty with a sweetness. There are not hops to balance out the malt sweetness. So swhile its flavorful, its unevenly sweet. Palate is syrup like thick. Not a keeper.
