Taste 2/9 Bottle. Looks: Very foamy out of the gate on this particular bottle. Top came flying off. Pale hazy gold body, very active disappearing foam. Aroma: A little lemon and spice (almost Hefe). Taste: Crisp and carbonated with a lemon and spice taste. A light and easy to drink summer style brew. To style.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy light orangeish yellow with a quickly disappearing white head. Aroma is so faint I cannot pick out anything. Slightly malty and bitter taste with a grassy tasting finish. Nice and crisp, very easy to drink.

First off, that woman on the bottle looks like a brunette to me, right?! Gold medal winner eh? We will see about that! This beer is so friggin transparent it almost reflects my image, how the hell is that possible? This beer has an odd aroma. Grassy kind of aroma. Not a very pungent beer. Smell a subtle hint of some citrus fruit I think. This beer is just not aromatic enough. Thin layer of head sitting on top of this beer. As I stated before, this beer is heavily filtered. They filtered this beer too much. They are calling it blonde ale, and the beer name fits the appearance. There is that upfront sublte fruit, but then harsh grass taste. The beer smells like it tastes. This is the 2nd beer in one night that has had the same smell as taste. Somewhat creamy, but not so much. There is a crisp taste to this beer that is crisp due to the flavoring hop. I can feel it on top of my tongue. There is not that everlasting bittering hop, but upfront hop that stays on the front of your tongue. Overall, just a simple crisp, light, and refreshing ale. Too thin for my palate, but I can understand why lager lovers would love this beer; probably because it is a step up from a lager, at least in my opinion.

On draught at the ABC brewery. Pours a clear golden yellow with airy white crown. Aroma is light with some grassy hops, yeast, and only a hint of malt. Flavour initially hits you with some hop bitterness but an earthy hop taste and almost no malt backbone. The finish is dry and bitter with more earth and grass in your mouth. Mouthfeel is thin with excessive carbonation. Nothing about this beer stands out in my mind. Not sure how it gets awards for being so unbalanced...

Hazy gold pour. Off white head. Overly spiced with some sweet malts and an acidic finish

This beer was not one of my favorites. Too light bodied on the palate, some light citrus and pepper spice, with a bit of honey sweet maltiness, with a dirty minerality with the finish of every sip.

Bottle from Ross. Pours a hazy golden with a two fingers airy white head. Lemon and toasty malt aroma. Light bodied. Flavor of pale malt and honey that is quickly overpowered by the hops (noble?), and they don’t work for me on this beer. Slight citrus notes on the finish with the grassy, dried herb, tea like bitterness lingering (and not in a good way)
