3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 crazyvin (1536) - New York, USA - JUN 16, 2010
From the beer of the month club: A nice slightly cloudy yellow body with a nice white head that had good retention. Aroma was a mix of citrus and floral hop notes. Flavor had nice grassy notes and a mild but pleasant corn malt flavor. Finish was crisp. A nice enjoyable beer.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 corby112 (1862) - philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 3, 2010
Pours a very slightly hazy dark golden yellow color with golden ripe banana hues when held to a light source and a two finger frothy, soapy white head that slowly fades into a lasting ring. Sporadic sheets of lacing left behind.
Crisp slightly spicy aroma with faint hints of pepper and coriander. Subtle light fruit notes in the nose, mostly apple and pear. Also, jut a touch of earthy hops. Overall, this beer smells pretty bland. Let’s hope the flavor steps it up a notch.
Surprisingly full bodied for the style with some soft carbonation up front that fades into a sweet estery presence which is balanced by an odd malt backbone and a ry spicy finish. Hints of pepper and coriander along with apple, pear and subtle earthy hops. There’s not much of an alcohol bite, which I expect and love from this style. Overall, this is a "watered down" version of a Belgian classic that doesn’t quite live up to expectations.

Bottle from Red Brick mixed variety 12-pack. Poured a light golden yellow with a decent sized white head. Sweet aroma of citrus hops and honey. Mild flavor. Quite easy to drink, but not overly exciting.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Mora2000 (2732) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JAN 15, 2010
This was a gusher, with about a quarter of the beer flying out and onto the table when it was opened. After getting the beer poured into the glass, the beer poured a hazy yellow color with a huge white head.
The beer smells of wheat malt, with a little bit of lemon. The taste follows the smell, with a slight hop bitterness at the end.
Even with the ridiculous amount of carbonation, this was a decent beer. Not the best, but nothing to be to upset about.
