Bottle thanks to jrob21. Pours a clear golden color with a medium white head. The aroma is nice; butterscotch and lemony citrus. The flavor is similar; buttery malts, light citrus, pineapple, and maybe some corn. Decent and drinkable.

sample at Taco Mac. an average blonde color. very little going on in the aroma.. some lingering lemon... average body with some light bitterness... the finish is the strongest part of this beer... some bitterness comes forward but not to the degree of really saving this beer. overall its a disappointing effort from a local brewery that can produce a better product.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20 Butters (2843) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - JUN 2, 2009
Translucent straw colored pour with quick fading white head and decent lacing. Lightly sweetened corn nose with traces of smarties. Flavor is a little citrusy with some honey and a grassy hop note in the finish. Medium body is almost crisp. Pretty decent substitute for a bud, but just blah for a beergeek.
