35 cl bottle, 5.6%, 2.30€. Gassy bottle, pours pale yellow, hazed, enormous expandig soapy white head, spicy and fruity nose. Aroma: dunghy wheat, loads of yeast, earth, leafy hops, ripe banana, citrus, spices. Taste is sweetish, mild balance, tart. Medium bodied, quite thick texture, heavily carbonated. Lemony finish with fuel notes already. OK weizen from oversea, but far away from German ones.

Poured dark for style with limited head. Fizzy and fun for low ABV beer. Bottle - Ale Yeah! - Decatur, GA

Bottle from Beer Frog in Spring Hill. Pours a hazy yellow with a white head. Nose is light wheat, blood orange, some bitter orange, some bubble gum, some overripe banana, and some clove spice. Flavor is similar with orange and citrus up front supporting the wheat notes, citrus and banana in the mid, and pepper, yeast, spice, and blood orange in the finish. Light to medium in body and nice hefe overall.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle, with a picture of a pug on a skate board wearing a Hawaiian shirt with sunglasses on his head, poured into a weizen glass. Pours hazy golden with small fluffy white head. Aroma is banana, medium body, medium carbonation, and thin small bubble lacing. Taste is grainy, some banana, and hints of clove.

Dog Days on tap at the brewery. 4.1% ABV Hazy golden-amber with a weak but semi-durable head. Feel: crisp and lovely carbonation; near medium body is not as light as average for style. Aroma: fruity with wheat; appropriately spicy. Flavorful and particularly fruity. Some banana but also hints of pear, apple and pineapple. Nice complexity. O. Outstanding

Per essere una weizen made in Usa, passabile. Ma niente di eccezionale: bananosa e speziatina ma tutto si chiude lì. Discreta.

This is the 2nd beer I’ve had by Red Brick (Laughin Skull being the other) and I am not impressed. This is supposed to be a Hefe, yet it is sweet and malty with only distant bubble gum and banana notes. Not enough carbonation either. Very disappointing.
