Shared by turdferguson. Murky amber orange pour, floaties (bottom of bottle). One finger of off white head. Nose is resin heavy, lots of oily hop notes, light oxidation with bready notes and a citric quality. Lightly zesty quality to the flavor, otherwise the hop character is very resinous. Piney with a slightly papery quality. Not bad, needs some work but a great start.

TURDFERGUSON (3945) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - MAY 8, 2012
Bottle. 200th IPA rating. Cloudy orange pour, thick white head. Nose hoppy-herbal and grassy, light pine and citrus, light toffee malts. Flavor is a little more on the malty side, hops are still there but not as vibrant as the nose. Bitter finish, but not much hop flavor going on here. Drinkable, but forgettable.

aroma: toffee and caramel malt, metallic herbal hops.

taste: hop bitterness, caramel malt sweetness, dry herbal hops.

astringent and papery, without any enticing hop aromatics.

Pours hazy burnt orange color with off white head. Aromas of pine, citrus, floral hops, and caramel. Biscuit flavor with some pine and citrus hops. Medium body with average carbonation.

Hangover (1057) - Atlanta, Alabama, USA - APR 6, 2012
Copper pour with a thin tan head. Aroma is nice and hoppy with citrus notes. Flavor is orange and grapefruit with some sticky malt on the back end. Pleasant enough, nothing that will knock your socks off though. Would make a good session beer although the abv is probably a tad too high. Good brew.

Amber and slightly hazy with a thin head. The aroma is somewhat stale and chewy. Lots of bitterness and still a bit chewy on the palate. Not nearly bright enough.

The aroma is big and impressive with citrus, pine, and grassy hops. The malts are caramel like and give good balance. The appearance is amber with a large foamy head. The taste is like the aroma to a point but mostly astringent. The palate is thin. Overall this is such a waste. It is one great smelling beer that got my hopes up to them dash them.

Bottle at Fox Bros BBQ, Atlanta. Not a kick-you-in-the-throat IPA, but still an IPA. Hops more flavor than aromatic. A little subdued.

poured from 12oz beer - Was on vacation and came across this in Memphis. Not bad, pretty basic and not very imaginative, but definitely worth my time. Good balance with a bias toward dry citrus and pine.

12oz. Bottle: Got in trade from smith4498; THANKS Jason! Aroma of hops, citrus, and hints of malt and caramel. Poured orange in color with a large, creamy, dense, off-white head that quickly diminished but lasted throughout as a film on top of the beer. Cloudy. Lightly sparkling. Full of small and large-sized particles throughout. Very good lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of malt, hops, and caramel. Medium body. Dry texture. Average carbonation. Lightly sweet, lightly bitter, malt, hop, and caramel finish is dry.
