Red Brick HopLanta (US) - IPA - 6.7%

35 cl bottle, retail around 2.50€ BB 12/2014. Hazy copper color, thick short creamy offwhite to yellowish head, very fine creamy texture and plenty of lacing.
Hoppy nose already. Aroma: thick caramel malts, mild roast, brown sugar, spices, yeast and a wham of american hops. Taste is balanced prominent to the bitter end.Full bodied, soft, creamy texture very smooth, umami bitter finish. A slow sipper, interesting cross within IPA, Amber Ale and zwickel. Good.

a light amber body with a fast fading white head. There was a bit of lacing left. Aroma of sweet caramel malts and nice resinous pine hops. Some citrus. Flavor was mildly sweet and generically bitter. Decent flavor, but kind of two-dimensional. Easy to drink.

bottle poured a clear reddish amber with a lasting amber head. Aromas of caramel, earthiness, light fruitiness and a hint of pine. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of caramel, earthiness and a hint of pine with a smooth dry lightly bitter finish.

Pours an attractive clear amber color, with half a finger head. Nose is subtle, but some citrus and pine. The taste is also pretty subtle - a touch of sweetness up front and goes immediately to the hops - but it is a pretty tame bite. Easy to drink, maybe a nice change from the hop bomb IPAs I have been having lately - so verdict is good, but nothing memorable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Amber with a thin head and a grapefruit nose. Moderately-carbonated with a medium mouthfeel and a long, hoppy finish with hints of vanilla.

On draft at Waverly Marriott in ATL. Poured hazy amber with rings of off white lace. Sweet malts, biscuits, grapefruit rinds. Really quite underwhelming. Let’s go Eers!

bottle @ Habersham Beverage / Savannah GA --- Hazy dark amber, off-white head that stays awhile, curtain of lace. Taste is strong caramel malt that is joined in the palate by citrus hops that easily balance, but don’t completely cover up the malt. Not a power IPA, but a well-balanced Ale with good hops.

From a bottle. Pours opaque orange copper with a bubbly white head. Tastes bitter, like roasted malt, burnt toast, tangy dried fruit, and citrus hops. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like tangy citrus hops, burnt malt, and caramel.
