3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Clear amber with a fast-fading head. Nose smells leafy and a wee bit resinous with a small sweetness behind it. The flavor is strongly hopped with some leafy and grassy bitterness, a little pine, finishing with an amberish caramel tone. A little heavy on the leafy resin, otherwise kinda average and forgettable. Frankly, a little on the tame side, especially toward the end of the glass.

Thanks to Martinus. 355 ml. bottle sampled @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Dark amber, little white head. Nose is huge dry almost medicinal pine with huge herbal malt presence. Taste is watery bitter herbs, dried grapefruit peel & lots of herbal malts, light pine. Watery & herbal. Badly construct & old on top I feel, not really worth drinking.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Crisp copper and bronze coloured body with a thin, one centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of bright floral and grassy hops with some herbal notes and a good bit of malt in the mix. Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy and floral flavour at first with no malt at all - just some dry hop notes and no depth or backbone. Aftertaste shows more of the hop residue with nothing substantial behind it - just an airy herbal and piney hop flavour with no malt to grasp onto. Overall, a pretty poor offering - the hops show decently, but without any malt, there isn’t too much to this beer - subdued and grassy and that’s about it. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Total Wine in Tampa, Florida on 03-January-2014 for US$1.99 sampled at home in Washington on 18-March-2014.

12oz. Bottle: Got in trade from smith4498; THANKS Jason! Aroma of hops, citrus, and hints of malt and caramel. Poured orange in color with a large, creamy, dense, off-white head that quickly diminished but lasted throughout as a film on top of the beer. Cloudy. Lightly sparkling. Full of small and large-sized particles throughout. Very good lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of malt, hops, and caramel. Medium body. Dry texture. Average carbonation. Lightly sweet, lightly bitter, malt, hop, and caramel finish is dry.

Cloudy, amber-brown with a thin, off-white head.
Aroma of wood, slight orange peel...
Taste is earthy hops, caramel, a bit of fruit.
Very mild....decent, but really no punch or distinctive traits.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 ounce bottle from Ale Yeah. Starts with a nice aroma of hops and resin then is followed by too much toffee caramel for the IPA I like.

12oz bottle in a tulip. Pours deep amber with an off-white head. Aroma of lightly floral and light pine hops, pale and caramel malts, and some dough. Flavor the same. Average texture. Not really a standout IPA.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Location: 12 oz bottle at Max Lagers, 4/17/13
Aroma: The nose is citrus hops, some caramel and pale malts, and a hint of floral hop
Appearance: This one has a bright orange pour, a white head, and some fairly heavy lacing
Flavor: The taste is similar to the nose component-wise, mildly sweet and medium-plus bitter
Palate: The body is medium, the carbonation is average-plus, and it has a dry finish
I thought this one was solid enough, but not great, considering that I was drinking this right after the house "Hopsplosion!!!" draft, and I liked that one more...

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Not the worst label I’ve ever seen, but it puts me in a mind of Christmas with the red and green candy stripe - and nothing says Christmas like a toad. The beer itself is cloudy and light brown. The aroma is a broadside assault of hops at first - as things settle down and warm there is lots of fresh pineapple, and the hops fade back into a supporting kat whizz role. Sweet (not too) and candied at times with lots of pineapple. The hops are really in a flavor and aroma role, and the brew is really not very bitter at all, until the end when it gets strongly bitter and perhaps a bit overbrewed tasting. Medium body, loses carbonation some. ABC Liquors, Betton.

12oz bonus bottle from adamjackson. Poured a slightly hazed orange/amber with an average at best foamy white head that fades slowly. Aroma is of sweet tropical fruit pulp and some rind along with malts peach and apricot skins wet toast and old hops. The body has a fuller slightly milky feel and very light carbonation. Flavor is older bread crusts at first followed by fruit skins, some apricot, peach and mango and finishes with smoke bitter happiness. Drinkable
