Pours a medium amber orange with a thick semi-substaning head. Smell was floral and citrus. The taste was medium bitter with some citrus, earthiness and caramel malts; pretty well rounded and balanced. Your good, but average IPA. Nothing to complain about, but for me needs a little more hop profile in the taste.

Draft at Fermentation. Bright amber pour with a small white head. Nose is grainy and sweet caramel malts with lingering citrus bitterness. Flavor is is more citrus and piney than the aroma with similare malt backing. Decent bitter finish. Not too bad.

astringent and papery, without any enticing hop aromatics.

Draft. Poured a hazy deep gold with a medium-sized white head. Aroma was grapefruity hops, some malt. Flavor was that plus some pine, a bit of diacetyl, sort of a soapy quality. Needed some more malt backbone, I thought.

Enjoyed on tap at Turner Field in Atlanta, GA while enjoying a Giants vs. Braves game. This stuff was great for a ballpark brew! I didn’t take tasting notes because I was too busy taking in Melky Cabrera’s arrogance, but I remember this being pretty damn good and hoppy with a light potency and citrusy goodness. Again, great ballpark brew!

Hazy amber-brown with an off-white head. It has a nice citrus aroma with grapefruit, orange, and some pine. The light body has a smooth texture with average carbonation. The bittersweet taste is easy to drink and finishes smooth.

Red Brick HopLanta has a medium, off-white head, a hazy, orange appearance with lots of bubble streams (etched glass), some lacing left behind, and an enormous amount of fairly big, light gray chunks suspended throughout. The aroma is of full, sweet, citrus and white bread, and the flavor is of the same, with a heafty piney bitterness across the sip. Mouthfeel is medium and slick, and Red Brick HopLanta finishes semi-dry, sweet, tasty, and easy drinking. Overall, this is really nice. RJT
