Not crazy about this. Hop nose is restrained, initially all sweet caramel malt and maybe even a hint of diacetyl, but then it showed some floral and citrus hops. Flavor starts with a peppery hop burst then some thick caramel mouthfeel. Lingering citrus pepper bitterness. More bitter than flavored by hops, too heavy with malts. Usual amber color.

Bottle from the beer of the month thing I got as a gift. Pours a hazed amber with a large white head. Earthy hops on the nose, and a bit of paper. Medium bodied, paper and grapefruit. Bitter quinine on the finish.

Can from my Dads beer of the month club. Pours a clear copper with pillowy white head. Malty, lacking pungent hops. Nothing special or discernible.

Clear amber color with floaters, minimal white head. Nice hoppy bitter and herbal hop aroma with a hint of biscuit. Bittersweet taste, maybe a bit boozy. Medium body, soft carbonation. Fine one. //stellabeer2go

Bottle. Bit hazy orange colour with white head. Aroma hops, citrus fruits, mostly lemon, then some tangerine, also some notes of caramel malt. Taste hops, tangerine, bit grassy. Bit harsh bitterness. Bitter aftertaste.

Juicy aroma of citrus and resin, backed up by malty thing... Not the best one, though. Pours deep golden, clear with small, but stable head & nice lacing. After pouring the whole bottle it became slightly cloudy. Taste is slightly bitter throughout, with a little bit of sweet thing going on as well. Average carbonation, light to medium body. OK beer.

Can and cold pint glass at the Floridian. Copper pour. Grapefruit aroma. And generally citrus notes throughout. Moderate hoppiness.

Bottle in the hotel lobby, RBWG ’15, night 2 - 20/02/15 thanks to whomever shared this number. Lightly hazed orange with a modereate off white covering. Nose is citric peel, tangerine, lightly skunked hop tones. Taste comprises mandarin, tangerine, citric pith, straw, light bread, melon. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok.

12oz bottle from HBT trade. No date on bottle, but another expired beer from this trade I presume. Pours a cloudy burnt orange color with the smallest head of white foam. Aroma of malt extract, malty caramel, and old rotted grapefruit. Taste is much the same. Lots of syrupy maltiness, caramel, grass, bitter citrus peel, and rotted fruit. Meh

Pours a hazy amber color with a small khaki head. I have never smelled a beer like this before. It smells as though it’s not fermented. You know that smell when you just finished boiling the beer and transfer it to the fermenter? That’s what it smells like. Really sweet and malty. Weird. Not bad, just weird. Flavors are more along the malty side as well and are very muddled. Slightly bitter and muddled finish. Overall it’s not bad but it just feels like an unfinished product.
