Hoppy, yes. Thin off white lacing and an amber color. This beer is thick with yeast sediment...crazy thick. The sediment and oiliness stay in the mouth and linger. The flavor isnít anything too exciting.

Orange color with a bit of haze and off-white head. Aroma has mainly sweet citrus fruits and resiny hops. Taste follows with orange, grapefruit, a bit of caramel malt, really balanced. Finish is more bitter with piney hops and bitter grapefruit pith. Medium body and carbonation, really easy to drink. Overall itís a really classic IPA, well made and quite tasty.

Never turn down a free rate. This beer certainly falls in that category; if I would have paid the going rate of $6 a pint I would probably have given it a lesser score. Itís not the worst IPA in the south but it just feels kind of "meh" with the way that standards have changed in the last ten years.

Aroma / Appearance - A ruby core remains mostly transparent below a short lived head. Modest bitterness consists of citrus and core hops. A malty kernel binds it all together.

Flavor / Palate - A hop driven experience stays in the ballpark for a middle of the road IPA. Nothing about it stands out greatly. If faced with the choice of this or a handle like Budweiser Iíd probably choose it but with so many other options available even at ho hum bars I think I will consign this to the "try once and move on" pile.

Colore biondo arancio, sottile schiuma molto pannosa. Aroma floreale e leggermente fruttato. Al palato fruttata, base maltata con poca amarezza. Agrumata e una parte speziata. Discreta ma non cosž nello. Stile. Carbonazione media.

355ml bottle. Cloudy, orangey golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Cautious, citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, somehow cheesy background. Taste is similarly cheesy, a bit more citrusy; Explicit lemon notes not before the finish.

ARH (1117) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 19, 2016
On tap, poured into a 20oz stein. The aroma is a dry, grassy citrus with a light soap and pine undertone. Itís a clear, oily, gold hued beer topped by a white fuzz carbonation that shows great retention and lace. The taste is a medium sweet and medium bitter blend. The oily texture has a fuzzy carbonation and a medium body flavored primarily by juicy citrus and subtle grass notes. The finish is crisp and herbal with an aftertaste of pine, bitter medicine, and herbs.
