3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
At the Fitzgerald’s Irish Pub in Bonita Springs Florida, we were served Fitzgerald’s Red Lager. It was later learned that this was a contract brew from Anheuser-Busch that was known there as the American Red and that it was a quote white label brew made for distribution to various pubs under their own label. It is assumed that this is that American Red. It poured a small sized head of light brown colored foamy finely sized mostly diminishing bubbles that left behind a transparent dark red brown colored softly carbonated body and a fair lacing. Its mouth feel was tingly from the start to the finish. It also had a caramel red malt aroma. The flavor was of red malt, caramel malt flavoring. It would make a good session brew with its easy drinking quaff-ability.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A nice Vienna lager from Anheuser-Busch. This isn’t a world-beater, but it’s a respectable, well-hopped brew that should convey to drinkers that, on occasion, A-B actually brews quality products when it feels like it. Sadly, this amber-colored beer is only available in NYC and overseas.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hmmm, this isn't bad at all. A slight hop character and a subtle malty sweetness. A decent vienna-style lager. Too bad this is the only decent beer that they make.

At the Fox and Hound in Fort Worth (downtown), they serve a beer called "Red Fox Amber." Couldn’t find it on here, but since the bartender told be that Budweiser brewed it for them, I am assuming this is it. I also assume that all Fox and Hounds have it and that by Budweiser, he meant Anheuser-Busch. Anyway, pours a clear amber-reddish color, with a very frothy, pure white head. Taste is pretty tame with a little caramel malt mixed with a hint of hop bitterness. This would be a good beer to drink a lot of.

2.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 9/20
Tastes like the typical budweiser. Nothing really different about it, but a little more full bodied. Not bad. Light amber in color. A aroma of yeast and wheat. Its an ok beer.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draft at Tina’s in Cincinnati under the name of Tina’s Red Lips Ale. Was told it was made for them by Budweiser. Poured dark amber with an average frothy white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Moderate balanced malt and hop aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture. Medium sweet flavor with a bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Drinkable at $1.50 a pint.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
I am assuming this is the beer i want to rate, i had this at a restaurant the other night in gainesville called ballyhoo. The beer went by the name of ballyhoo amber and i asked the bartender what it was and she said Anheuser made it for them. So in the light i sat in it poured a reddish color with a thin white head, flavor was pretty subtle, it was malty with slight hop flavor, not much going on with it nothing that stood out too much for me anyways.

I had this at Caliente Resorts in Tampa, they had it on tap under the name of "Caliente Red". I was underwhelmed when I learned that it was from AB (or is it InBev now?). It poured a fairly clear red, small half inch head. Tasted fairly watery. Very cheap knock-off of a Killian’s. Though for an AB product, I can’t say I’m not impressed I give and E for effort.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Couldn’t see it too well in the dark bar lighting. It looks like a fairly dark amber from what I could tell. Nice head that went down kinda quick. Lots of lacing. Smells kinda plain. Mostly malt. Tastes pretty decent. The aftertaste has a surprising bite. More full bodied than most anything from AB. Not bad, but I think that the adjunct aftertaste might start to pile up after awhile.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
This beer still has a very Budweiser-like essence to it, but it is a bit more full, malty and smooth. Pale amber color. Aroma is yeasty and wheaty.
