Ír típusú vörös sör. Vörösesen csillogó színu, gyümölcsökre emlékezteto illatú, karakteresen keseru ír típusú sörkülönlegesség. Minden ínyencnek ajánljuk. In english:Irish style red beer. Shiny ruby colored body, fruity aroma, characteristic bitterness tasted irish style stuff to beer gourmands.(from the website of the brewery).

1L Pet bottle from Tesco Was great surprise to me: amber in colour, thin head goes away quickly. Yeasty and lightly sweet taste and aroma - like an ale. Medium to low carbonation. Recommended!

Poured a dark amber-red body with a slightly off white head. The nose is beets and cardboard. What fun. Not much taste, light sweetness...not so good

first of all: this is definitely not an irish ale!!!! the appearance is ok, the colour is brownish-red, the head is acceptable; regarding the aromas: it has some disturbing, unidentifiable smell; it has some sweetness (in my opinion, just because of the added sugar) and bitter aftertaste, however it’s a bit too watery, if it was a real irish ale it would be far below the average; since it is not an irish ale (just a lager which tries to mimic an ale), it is acceptalbe for its price (but will never be my favourite)

1L plastic bottle. Herbal aroma. Red body with medium foam. Some sweet tones at beginning, then some spices and hoppy tones. Medium bitter aftertaste.

Draught at Kaledonia Pub, Budapest, Hungary.
Clear ruby red colour with small light tan head. Dry, salty and malty aroma. Dry liquorice, dry malt, salt and mild caramel malt in flavour. What a great surprise. Very tasty for a Red Beer.

33cl bottle. Something wrong with me, but this isn’t good. Beside of coffee, corny taste with the extra bad taste of extra sugar in the beer. Colour and body is OK, but foam is disappearing, also Co2 ’cause the sugar. It is expensive but not good (not everything is good, what expensive, for example Coronita also bad but costly).

This Hungarian speciality pours with ruby, clear body and thick, redish head. Very strong bread and yeast aroma. These characteristics are present in the taste too with flavours like fruits and grass.

Bottled, from a small kiosk at Podmaniczky Frigyes tér, Budapest. Clear amber, minimal head. Roasty and mid dry with clean, rounded mouthfeel and medium body. A bit fruit and salty with roasty/nutty notes. Slight salty bitterness. A little rough.
