330ml bottle. Pours an opaque deep chestnut, with a smallish off-white head, which lasts reasonably well and leaves decent lacing. Milk chocolate and latte mix with light citrus hops in the aroma. Lemon and peppery hops up front lead into a blend of latte and cocoa. The finish blends bitter espresso with some light lemon hops. This is a pretty decent effort. It’s not the most exciting beer around, but it does everything it needs to.

Bottle from Slowbeer. Darkest of dark brown, roasted malt dominates the aroma, just behind strong piney/citrus hops with some chocolate notes as well. Complex flavours of roasty/chocolatey malt with grapefruit bitterness. Finishes quite dry. Quite liked this one.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Davros (1477) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - DEC 9, 2012
Pours black with brown highlights and a fading head.
Nose shows complex roasted malt with coffee and oatmeal notes. Also some light spicy hops and nutty notes.
Flavours also include hefty roasted and nutty malt along with some spicy and grapefruit-like hops.
Could use more carbonation.
Pretty solid American style porter.

Bottle from Swords Vic Market. Great taste, very good balance. Aromas of caramel, with hints of liquorice and nuts. Taste is sweet and bitter, with long length. Palate is velvety, and medium bodied. Brown, with a frothy head.

Bottle. Dark brown with a coat of beige head. Aroma of chocolate and oranges, some tropical fruit and a little pine. Slightly sweet with mocha flavours, marmalade oranges, a touch of grapefruit. Dry finish with modest bitterness. Pleasant, easy-going beer. Neither the malt flavours nor the bitterness are quite enough to match the citrus aromatics.
