3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On draught at the Red Eye brewpub in Wausau, Wisconsin. Pours a golden pale colored ale with a fast dissipating off-white head but still leaves behind some excellent lacing. Aroma of golden grain malt, some light fruity essence, citrus, and a hint of pear. Taste is light to medium bodied, some mild grassy hop presence, a hint of pils-like grain and some light fruit. Finish is light, crisp with a short lived sharp bitterness, followed by a crisp and clean cut aftertaste. Best described as a decent German Pils with an ale yeast presence. Excellent summer session.
