Appearance: Dark brown, near black body (maybe a little ruby at the edges). Modestly-sized, beige head.

Smell: It delivers aromawise just what you’d expect from the name: chocolate, dark malts, peanut butter.

Taste: Chocolate maltiness boosted by the nibs and a dark roastiness. Moderate sweetness throughout. Sure enough, there’s a peanut butter taste. Tastes on an alcoholic Reese’s Pieces flavor. Sweet, choco-PB finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-low carbonation.

Overall: Interesting. Seems peanut butter beers are the wave of the future!

Brown black pour with tan head and lace. Aroma is cocoa, roasted malt and light coffee. Flavor of chocolate malt and a funky earthiness that might be the peanut butter. Medium body with good carbonation.

Cask at ACAT. Pours near black with a dark brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a great combination of dark chocolate and peanut butter with a hint of sweetness. Flavor has dark chocolate up front with has a nice roasted peanut note that makes for a nice combination. Very drinkable.
