COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This American style IPA is medium bodied and definitely has that citrus flavor and aroma we’ve all come to love. Coming in at just under 7% ABV we hope this IPA sets the tone for our new brewery in the Atlanta market. Slightly sweet, very hoppy, crisp but unfiltered, we know this one will leave people thirsty for more.

12 oz can Pours mostly clear orange/amber with a tall sticky off-white head. Citrus and pine resin hop aroma. The flavor is slightly bitter but there’s sweetness there too. On it’s way into the sweetness that comes in a lot of IIPAs that I don’t like. This one is running behind in some very tough competition in the Atlanta market.

On tap. Pours a clear amber gold with an off-white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has a bit of bitter grapefruit with more citrus and a nice light bread backbone. Flavor has grapefruit up front with a bit of resin that mellows to a citrus note in the finish.

Kinda rough ipa for a non ipa drinker thin head. Not that great an ipa. But not bad by any means average. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A cloudy orangish pour with a thin head. Aroma is good with a fresh hops and citrus but also with some nuttiness and cloves. Good body and carbonation for this style. Taste is a bit mixed with a lot of bitterness and off flavors.

Apricot pour, white head. Aroma has some nice bright citrus hops, some grassy notes and caramel. Flavor is nice and fresh...citrus hops, some very light resin. Not overly bitter but not overly malty. Easy drinking.

Mini Growlerette from Hop City. First glass 7/7/12 on day of purchase. It was fresh but no real aroma or complexity of the malts. Second glass on 7/10/12 not improved. I’m sorry to say I didn’t love this beer.

Somewhat murky orange with white head. Fresh hops, pineapple, weed, soap. Good body/carbonation. Soft bubble gum, orange, and clove are overwhelmed by big hop bite. Enjoyable.

Good overall ipa. Good tasty hops and little lacing. Local to me and enjoyable when fresh.

Growler. Served at around 45F.

Pours clear golden amber with a good off-white head that leaves really nice drippy rings of lacing and holds a decent cap.

Aroma is grassy and floral with notes of citrus and apricot, some bready malt as well. Good strength, but not blowing me away.

Flavor is nice citrus, grassy hops, a bit herbal, malt provides notes of bread and caramel and lends decent sweetness, finishes with good bitterness.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied, a bit oily, good carbonation.

Pretty good IPA from this upstart Georgia brewery. I definitely like this better than Monday Night’s IPA. Red Hare’s Lager is really nice and will be trying the Brown later tonight.
