3/6/13. 12oz can from 5 Points. Lightly hazed orange amber pour with a thick, frothy khaki head that sticks with a half inch and laces plentifully. Nice hop aroma, though somewhat laid back, with plenty of pine and citrus, and a doughy, bready aspect. Nice but laid back hop flavor as well with more citrus, pine, some dryness, and a doughy malt backing. This is actually pretty dang tasty, but not all that bold, somewhat laid back, and malty. Almost a hoppy pale ale, but a tasty one at that.

UPDATED: FEB 21, 2013 Brewvival Trip Beer 38. 12 ounce can from Whole Foods Market Duluth, GA. Pours a hazy amber color with a half glass of frothy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of tropical and citrus hops, caramel malts and something very faint and almost ashy, and not in a good way. The taste is caramel malts, earthy, herbal hops with some citrus. Medium bodied.

Can at brick store pub with mom and dad while visiting in Georgia. Pours a hazy amber with thick white head. Aroma is super sweet bread and weird candy-like scent. Mouthfeel is medium with notes of bread, sweet malts and candy.

Can less than a month old! Pours a hazy orange with a fluffy white head that stays amazingly well. Aroma is earthy and pine, very clean-smelling. Aroma is a brief flash of sweet malts followed by a savory bittersweet grapefruit hop finish. Mouthfeel is somewhat viscous with lively carbonation. This is darn good canned beer, and average-to-good for an IPA. Most of its appeal is that it is a very loca beer, however.

Pours dark murky orange with a lasting white head. Nice c hop aroma and flavor. Might give the local favorite ipa a run for its money. Decent body and caramel malt sweetness and backbone. Everything comes together nicely. Can’t complain when you get those nice grapefruit esther burps!
