4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz. bottle. Pour is a hazy golden copper with an ivory head and nice lacing. Aroma is plenty of pineapple, orange zest, and piney hops, earthy malt smell. Taste is a nice caramel sweetness on the tongue with a nice hop and citrus burst in the middle and a smooth butter finish. I really like this one. Fortunate enough to have my mother bring this to Connecticut for me from her vacation as this is small Atlanta based brewery.

12oz can pours a hazy, grapefruit orange with some sudsy, white head. Nose is very juicy, pulpy, dusty, straw. Flavor is very pithy, a little dusty, soapy, slightly herbal. Pithy finish. Not great.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Got this gem from someone who was pissed they lost in a BIF. 12 oz can served in a Westbrook tulip.
A: Pours a slightly hazy orange color with a with a white head forming on the pour. It recedes to a thick collar that leaves some splotchy lace down the glass.
S: Slightly floral with a little bit citrus backing. Cereal grain malt that have honey nut cheerio’s type of aroma to them.
T: Old, stale malts, slightly sweet and nutty. An odd combination. Mild citrus with an old leafy type quality to it. Residual bitterness on the finish. Grassy It just doesn’t work.
M: Medium to light bodied with a grainy and bitter finish. Medium carbonation level.
O: Below average IPA. The malt bill tastes old and grainy and the hop profile doesn’t mesh well with the overall beer. Avoid.

Not much to taste here. Goes from floral to bitter to nothing very quickly. Overall drinkable if it is the only IPA but hardly my first tier pick.
