3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a mostly clear golden brown from the can with off-white bubbly head that settles to a ring of lacy foam. Aroma is funky fresh hops, nice grapefruit and citrus with just a hint of pine and caramel on the back end. Taste follows, but the sweetness of the malt comes through a little more, and clean bittersweet finish. Canned about a month go and cold stored, so still tastes really fresh. Pretty solid.

Can from GAManiac. Thanks Grant! Pours a hazy amber with copious, frothy white head. Good lacing. Nose is a vegetal pine with some background citrus zest and candied malt. Flavor is abundant with vegetal hopping and sweet, sticky candy. Lingering vegetal pine. The leafy/candy malt combo was not ideal, but this okay.

3/6/13. 12oz can from 5 Points. Lightly hazed orange amber pour with a thick, frothy khaki head that sticks with a half inch and laces plentifully. Nice hop aroma, though somewhat laid back, with plenty of pine and citrus, and a doughy, bready aspect. Nice but laid back hop flavor as well with more citrus, pine, some dryness, and a doughy malt backing. This is actually pretty dang tasty, but not all that bold, somewhat laid back, and malty. Almost a hoppy pale ale, but a tasty one at that.

UPDATED: FEB 21, 2013 Brewvival Trip Beer 38. 12 ounce can from Whole Foods Market Duluth, GA. Pours a hazy amber color with a half glass of frothy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of tropical and citrus hops, caramel malts and something very faint and almost ashy, and not in a good way. The taste is caramel malts, earthy, herbal hops with some citrus. Medium bodied.

Can at brick store pub with mom and dad while visiting in Georgia. Pours a hazy amber with thick white head. Aroma is super sweet bread and weird candy-like scent. Mouthfeel is medium with notes of bread, sweet malts and candy.
