COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sticky Stout is Red Hare’s Winter Seasonal Oatmeal Stout. Brewed with dark roasted malts and tons of oats, it is a nice balance of light and sweet. Hints of chocolate and roasted coffee come through on the front, finishing with a sticky mouthfeel. With a 6.5% ABV this beer is not too heavy, not to light... it’s just right!

Draft sample at Hops + Crafts in Nashville. Clear chestnut color with a thin brown head of tiny bubbles. Aroma is almost non-existent but a hint of chocolate. Thin mouthfeel. A light taste of malt and coffee but also a light hint of sourness that seems misplaced. Meh. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at 2016 Hogs and Hops. Decent head over a black body. Medium body. Aroma: sweet toffee with dark bread. Flavor follows. Too boozy, especially for less than 7% ABV. Overall: very good but not excellent nor particularly memorable.

Nose with a hint of oatmeal. Color was light for a stout. Mouthfeel was lighter than most stouts. Decent flavors. Hints of coffee and chocolate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Black, with a thick, finely carbonated layer of foam. Looks almost like a Nitro pour, actually. Smells like dark chocolate and raisin, with a whiff of coffee. Taste is surprisingly sweet, some raisin and blueberry, then dark chocolate. Not bad.

A pretty straight forward stout is the best way possible. I'd be happy to have a regular supply of this. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can... Pours black with a small, negligible head. The aroma features a swirl of chocolate crème, pouch tobacco, and toasted pistachios. Medium to full-bodied with a sticky mouthfeel and tickling carbonation. The flavor is toasty, lightly roasty and pretty well-balanced. Finishes a tad chocolaty with kisses of vanilla and toasted tree nuts.

11/24/15. Craft on Draft. Black pour with a small tan head. Mild cocoa aroma, dark roasted malts, some cream and pale malts. Roasted malts strong, mild cocoa, hints at cream and doughy pale malts. Not bad.
