3.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours hazy brown with a finger of silky tan head. Aroma is toffee and caramel with hints of dark and fruity chocolate. Flavor is chocolate and toffee malt character but a little too flat. The flavors are all there, but there just isnít any bite to this beer. It just seems flat which is somewhat disappointing.

Half pint pour @ tasting room. Very little aroma. Color is a bit light. Taste is coffee, some sweet early. Finish is hop bitter. Overall, solid brown even with color and finish a little different.

A fairly well balanced brown ale though a bit hoppy at the end, almost an amber really.

Pretty light brown. Lots of head. Strong hops in the aroma and taste. Metallic, creamy, and malty. Pretty thin overall. Meh.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a translucent amber brown from the can with fluffy tan head, light lace, solid carbonation. Aroma is a strong hop presence, slight metallic back end. Taste follows, almost like a copper ale. A little thin, but no real booziness.

12 oz can stamped on bottom with "canned on 06/22/13" served in a pint,
Pours clear, dark brown with a full dark tan head. Good retention and nice creamy feel.
Enough spicy hops to add complexity and balance the sweetness from the malts. Light nutty too.
Easy drinking and in a can but plenty of flavor. Indeed, bold for style.

Right out the can at tailgrate. Chocolate-y malt flavor. Velvety mouthfeel. No hop flavor. Slightly coffee like as it warms. Enjoyable.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Can @ home, courtesy of Homer321. Thanks BRO! Pours a hazy brown appearance with a fluffy, light brown head. Roasty, chocolate cake, marzipan, nutty aroma. A little strong, slightly hot, light butter, caramel, toffee, toasty malty flavor. A little strong on the boost and a little strong on the hops. Bleh.

Good brown ale. The beer does have a distinct hop presence. Roasted nut flavor. Also some sweet caramel.

Overall my favorite beer this brewery offers but not by much. Hides the alcohol well with a little smoke and nutty flavors. Still not very good compared to what else is offered locally.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft. Pours clear amber brown with medium brown head, nice lacing. Smell is nutty, earthy, roasted malts, caramel. Taste is roasted malts, coffee, good wallop of spicy hops, caramel. This grew on me is a step up from your run of the mill brown ale. Decent.
