COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Watership Brown is Red Hare’s hopped up brown ale. Medium brown in color, this beer starts off with an almost nutty nose. The initial taste is very sweet and then followed by the roasted character of the darker grains used in this beer. At roughly 55 IBU’s the hop character is very noticeable but not overpowering and balances with the 7.2% ABV for a slightly sweet, somewhat hoppy, and definitely roasted finish.

Pours hazy brown with a finger of silky tan head. Aroma is toffee and caramel with hints of dark and fruity chocolate. Flavor is chocolate and toffee malt character but a little too flat. The flavors are all there, but there just isn’t any bite to this beer. It just seems flat which is somewhat disappointing.

Poured from the tap into a pint mug at the Marietta Pizza Company. Aroma- Has a nice hop/malt and bread aroma Appearance- This is an amber colored brew with a off-white head. Taste- A nice malt flavored beer with a nice hop finish, the large alcohol content is noticeable (in a good way) Palate- This is a medium bodied brew with light carbonation and a creamy to oily texture. Overall- First Red Hare product, better than average and worth having again.

Thanksgiving with the in laws. Good brown ale. A little hoppier than I typically like a brown ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can poured a clear reddish brown with a small lingering tan head. Aromas of cocoa, caramel and light fruitiness. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of caramel, light cocoa and a hint of earthiness with a smooth lingering caramel finish.

Very fruity aroma and start and some pleasant coffee notes to finish. Flavors are left a little too much to themselves, without a good base to lean on, to be really satisfactory.

can @ Habersham Beverage / Savannah GA --- Appealing looking clear rich ruby brown color, thick, smooth off-white head, sheets of lace. Aroma is an appealing nutty malt. Taste is roasted nutty malt that turns a little sweeter in the palate, then moving to a little bittering in the finish. A well-conceived, balanced brew. Recommended.

Can from unknown via Will P. Pours a medium brown, decent amount of tan head. Nutty, oaky nose, maybe some roasty notes as well. Some grassy herbal character as well. Body medium lively, with a biscuity smoothness, little bit of booziness in the finish, nice and smooth. Really nice.

From a can shared by Joe. Pours hazy copper brown with a fizzy beige head. Tastes like roasted malt, nutty, nice hop bitterness. Light / medium body and low carbonation. Smells like roasted malt, nutty, some dried fruit and hops.
