Gold with small white head. Corn and honey in both aroma and taste. Makes me think of the Oak Aged Yeti I had a couple of years ago. Makes me think "why didn’t I pick up the Yeti instead of this." Actually it is nicer than other high gravity beers I have had.

Yellow pour with a fizzy head that is gone in a flash. Grain, malt and corn in the aroma. Flavor is pretty standard for a malt liquor, but lighter than most. No big deal.

Smells kind of like sewer water. Tastes a bit strong of alcohol up front. The flavor is not as bad as the aroma. Still it leaves a funky taste as is not that good.

St. Petersburg, Fl. - Shep’s Deli - 12 oz bottle. Pale golden pour, pithy white head that dissipates quickly. Industrial, oily aroma with hints of metal. Kind of a bland flavor with some hollow sweetness and a hint of metal. Bump up a point from 7 to 8 on overall impression for the painted bottle - one of the few redeeming qualities of this malt likkah.

THOUGHTS: I didn’t have hight hopes for this. The combination of filipino beer and malt liquor weren’t giving it much of a shot at being good. But this was way worse than anything I could have imagined. If it were almost frozen it might be good to get drunk with, but I don’t know how anyone stomaches more than one of these. This would be my first drain pour if I did that sort of thing. I’m not a quitter. TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a clear, light to medium yellow with nice carbonation and an average-sized, fluffy, white head that kept a thin sheet and left good lacing. The aroma was light hay, dust and cardboard. The initial flavor was moderately sweet and sour; while the finish was moderate to heavily sweet, lightly bitter and sour with a short to average duration. It was like honey and water or sugar water or watered down malt or seltzer poured into almost any half way descent malt liquor, along with a little sour lemon. The light to medium body was like watery syrup with soft carbonation and a light alcoholic finish.

Enjoyed this beer thoroughly while in the Philippines. Seems to be stronger than most beers, light taste, but dark look.

Bottle from By The Bottle in Vancouver, WA--The low score here is not justified. This beer is not that great, but better than this score indicates. Golden, copper body with a tiny whitish head. Sweet, malty, sharp, tart, gritty feel. Mild hoppiness. Adjunct-y to some degree. Good end of the day brew. Not that great, though.

"Lucked" into one of these at a party in Manila. Locals warned me that it was a "strong beer". At least it was in a dark bottle.

355ml Bottle - The Liquor Collection - Honolulu, Hawaii
Aroma – Very light aroma. Malty but very light.
Appearance – Light golden color, fluffy head and clear.
Flavor – Very light malt liquor flavor. Felt like it was the light beer brewed for the second time with spent grains. Very very light in flavor.
Palate – Decent Mouthfeel, some texture with a semi finish.
Overall – A very light malt beer. This was just not my cup of tea. Or rather they used tea bags for malt wort.

very pale golden color. did have a white head that went away quickly. semi grainy taste, but nothing really stands out. you can tell this is a Malt liquor and if thats your deal, then you will like it. Neat bottle
