1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Everywhere in the Philippines. This stuff is like their equivalent to Old íE or Steel Reserve. Golden color, not much of a head, the aroma is insanely dominated by malt and cardboard / cereal notes, backed with a high alcohol base. Equal to drinking a Mickeyís to me, something to pound on the beaches of Boracay. Worth a try if you visit the area. Should be served brownbagged.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Thx Maria. A clear, golden pour is topped by a small, white head. The flavor is quite weak, but for a malt liquor it isnít bad. Thereís some alcohol, but itís not dominating, but the grains are. Alcohol, sweetness, grains and a little fruityness in the flavor, not much bitterness. Not in the finish either, that is more on the malty-sweet side. Medium body. Quite decent malt liquor, it actually surprised me a bit. (070719)

Bottle from Party Source, KY. Poured clear amber color with a moderate frothy white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Medium sweet grassy aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a moderate sweet finish of moderate duration. Drinkable brew.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Thank you Afer4ever for this new country, and itís not as bad as I thought it would be, itís at least much better than the Danish versions that only taste of alcohol. Itís warm golden with notes of malt in aroma and flavour, and itís sweetish and rather smooth. 2447

0.8 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
12-oz. Pours crystal clear medium straw color with towering fluffy platinum-blonde head. Huge mess of a nose. They teach you when youíre growing up to be a man that if you canít say anything nice, you shouldnít say anything at all. But to rate a beer, you have to speak the truth, and the truth about this beer isnít so very nice. Big sticky white sugar, fusel, corn, wet cardboard, and, oddly enough, perfumey nose. Why jack up your beer one way if you can jack it up six? Lots of clingy lace coming down the side of the glass. Somethingís making it awfully difficult for me to actually take a sip here. Well, nothing there. Some corn, grass, and floral notes. Meh. No finish. Watery. Total garbage.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Philippines! 12oz bottle, no date. Pours a clear light golden with a 1/2 finger quickly fading fizzy white head. Aroma of sweet corn grain and paper up front, very light biscuit dough--no sweetness to those biscuits. Flavor has added alcohol and dirty corny sweetness, minimal bitterness. No biscuit dough. Moderate carbonation with a light to medium body. Actually, I have to rate this for a malt liquor, and not compared to all other styles. If I had the rating would be 3-3-4-3-9--2.2. . . Otherwiswe itís not a horrible malt liquor.
