2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Thx Maria. A clear, golden pour is topped by a small, white head. The flavor is quite weak, but for a malt liquor it isn’t bad. There’s some alcohol, but it’s not dominating, but the grains are. Alcohol, sweetness, grains and a little fruityness in the flavor, not much bitterness. Not in the finish either, that is more on the malty-sweet side. Medium body. Quite decent malt liquor, it actually surprised me a bit. (070719)

It has a smooth taste and I love to drink it moderately because of its aroma. For me, it’s perfect! Cheers! for RED HORSE BEER!

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle from Party Source, KY. Poured clear amber color with a moderate frothy white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Medium sweet grassy aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a moderate sweet finish of moderate duration. Drinkable brew.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Thank you Afer4ever for this new country, and it’s not as bad as I thought it would be, it’s at least much better than the Danish versions that only taste of alcohol. It’s warm golden with notes of malt in aroma and flavour, and it’s sweetish and rather smooth. 2447

0.8 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
12-oz. Pours crystal clear medium straw color with towering fluffy platinum-blonde head. Huge mess of a nose. They teach you when you’re growing up to be a man that if you can’t say anything nice, you shouldn’t say anything at all. But to rate a beer, you have to speak the truth, and the truth about this beer isn’t so very nice. Big sticky white sugar, fusel, corn, wet cardboard, and, oddly enough, perfumey nose. Why jack up your beer one way if you can jack it up six? Lots of clingy lace coming down the side of the glass. Something’s making it awfully difficult for me to actually take a sip here. Well, nothing there. Some corn, grass, and floral notes. Meh. No finish. Watery. Total garbage.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
12 oz. bottle. Poured golden with fizzy head. Corn and grainy flavor. Blah. At least it’s 7%.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Philippines! 12oz bottle, no date. Pours a clear light golden with a 1/2 finger quickly fading fizzy white head. Aroma of sweet corn grain and paper up front, very light biscuit dough--no sweetness to those biscuits. Flavor has added alcohol and dirty corny sweetness, minimal bitterness. No biscuit dough. Moderate carbonation with a light to medium body. Actually, I have to rate this for a malt liquor, and not compared to all other styles. If I had the rating would be 3-3-4-3-9--2.2. . . Otherwiswe it’s not a horrible malt liquor.

1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Dull yellow, large diminishing head with no lacing. Aroma is grain with gas. Flavor is alcoholic with grain, gasoline and more stuff that shouldn’t be in beer. Very light body, sweet finish. Pretty much terrible, but hey it’s another country.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle: Okay, so I made the mistake of opening this after several other lagers... looks bout the same, vibrant yellow, slight orange
tinge, very clear, moderate white fizzy head, dies quickly, sparce lacing.   Grassy nose, pale malts, very slight alcohol.   7% ABV
ya know.   Well, I will say this, its pretty clean.   Very light, pale malts, slightly grassy, moderate sweetness.   Actually,
this one is quite a bit better than the prior two beers.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate, nearing the thin side tho.   Clean
finish, warming, sweet pale malts linger.   Better than expected!

[Can from Therese brought all the way from Manila.] Asian mainstrean fluid, which has only one purpose with its production. To cool dawn all the sweaty backpackers. And it’s well done in the summerheat all year around. But back home it’s nothing else than a beer, where its most remarkable feature is its huge head, and the usually taste of straws, metal and rice. But thanks a lot to Therese!
