50cl bottle. Pours a clear dark straw yellow colour. Aroma is malty and hay. Average carbonation and light watery body. Taste is light bitter and light sweet. Overall, a common lager.

According the bottle, it ’contains any of the following: cereals, sugar, starch; hops’ - who knows what’s in it. Give it a wide berth. The painted bottle is not so bad, but the beer is awful.

Bottle from Wing Yip, Nechells. Light, almost fragrant Pils. Belies the streeength. Good fizz. Light sugar and rainwater. Surprisingly lacks punch or booze impact. Blandish.

UPDATED: MAY 9, 2016 Thai brewed version @ 6%. I think I’m feeling a little more charitable with this tasting. Certainly has some palate weight when compared to other local offerings however it’s really just a very simple sweet note that no doubt the 6% helps fill out. Some fizz mid-palate but it really does ’fizz out’ in a big way on the finish. Does have a ’Red Bull’ lookalike label, perhaps this is marketing intent?

Drank at El Tiki bar in Cebu. Not much taste, lightly malty with a slight lemony fizzy/sharp finish. High booze (8%).

This stuff is lethal! There I was carefully working my way through the San Mig range watching the rugby when suddenly this bad boy turns up, 7% and in a bigger bottle! Oh well. Actually not too bad given its strength, manages to taste primarily of not a lot which I thought was a good result! Good name and packaging...

The smooth flavor is what I like about this beer if I have two types or more in the fridge this is the starter and I work my way down from it. ps Extra Strong is just what it is one can get swiftly hammered on this so take it easy. I have had many friends make this their favorite there by making it more expencive and difficult to find

Dit is een redelijk waterige pilsener, in smaak en kleur. Weinig hop en mout. Rijst is te ontdekken in ’t smaakpalet. Het bier heet ’Extra Strong’ te zijn, maar heeft 6,9% alcoholvolume.
