Strong corn in the sweet and lightly boozy aroma. Clear pale golden body is topped by a fizzy, white, rapidly and fully diminishing head. Flavour follows the aroma - lots of corn and quite sweet but there is some bitterness to take the edge off. Almonds/marzipan in the aftertaste. Watery texture with rather strong carbonation. Not my cup of tea. Shaker glass. Fridge temperature. Can (8%) purchased at Brewery Creek in February 2012.

T: malt, corny, grassy, there is also starch beside cereals in the contain so what to expect from this beer, nothing special but yes it is from Philippines so fine, but as the beer itself below-average, 0,5l bottle, 6,9%, from local Philippines food shop Avenue de la Chasse, Brussels.

Bottle from local toko. Golden coloured with a white head. Nose is grainy, wort, bready. Flavour is grainy, sweet malty, bit skunked and chemically tasting. Pretty bad.

Red Horse Extra Strong has a thin, quickly-dying white head, a clear, extremely bubbly, golden appearance, and no lacing left behind. The aroma is mild, but one can detect sweet malt and grain. Taste is also mild, for an 8% malt liquor- sweet malt, mild hop bitterness, and not cloying. Mouthfeel is light to medium, and Red Horse finishes crisp and refreshing. RJT

BeerAndPonies (171) - Medicine Hat, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 5, 2016
UPDATED: JUN 6, 2016 500 ml can from Dunmore Liquor, served in a shaker pint. Pours a bright golden hue with generous, large-bubbled carbonation and a soapy head that vanishes quickly and leaves spots of lace. Aroma is damp cereals, grass, and hay, with a mild level of vegetal and noble hop presence. Flavor is crackery, honeyed malts with hints of citrus, green apple, white grape, concluding with a general spiciness and some alcohol warmth. Medium-bodied, and with a brief finish. I had expected a poor malt liquor, but care has definitely been taken brewing this little strong lager gem, making it eminently drinkable and honest-to-Pete delicious. Give it a try!

Bottiglia 6.9 %. In bocca l’aroma riporta sentori pane, orzo, frutta secca e alcol presente.

UPDATED: MAR 22, 2016 Can - 330ml. Golden body with an instantly fading, white bubbly head. Very thin malty/hoppy aroma with weird dusty, rotten grass and fermented apple juice hints. Its watery taste carries some subtle herbal and bready notes. Ends with a short chemical finish. Useless.
