Commercial Description:
Beartooth Pale Ale is an American-style pale ale. It has a copper color and nutty malt flavor. The signature flavor of this beer is its moderate hop bitterness and grapefruit-rind hop flavor and aroma.

Draft in Red Lodge, MT at Foster & Logan’s on 7/17/07. Clear amber under a medium white head. Light toffee and citrus aroma, nothing too special or unexpected. Medium body and carbonation, fairly clean. Tastes a bit too sweet for me, with very faint bitterness at the finish and a hint of soapiness as well.

Sampled on draught at Sam’s Tap Room, next to the brewpub in Red Lodge, Montana. Pours a clear golden amber brew with a thick creamy white head with excellent retention. Aroma is very faint with some citrus zest, light caramel malt and a touch of white pine. Taste is light to medium bodied, lightly carbonated with a good volume of caramel malty bread. Finish is slightly metalic m dry and a moderate bitterness in the aftertaste.
