COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bent Nail I.P.A. is a tribute to the hard-working contractors who make their living in Red Lodge. The I.P.A is high in alcohol and hop flavor. We use copious amounts of American cascade hops to give the IPA intense grapefruit and citrus aroma and flavor. Bronze medal winner – 2007 Great American Beer Festival.

bottle... pours a really light color but settles a dark orange, not much of head, not much to look at... weak nose, a bit of grapefruit, orange rind, only a bit of hops, ok but not a ton going on... taste is little light, this might be old, grapefruit, a little white pepper a touch of alcohol, not much of a hop presence... ok

Bottle. Aroma is malty, sweet, berry-ish hop aroma-- certainly not a signature Cascade nose IMO Similar in the flavour department, low bitterness, a little earthy. Almost more British in style, I would never have guessed Cascade is their hop of choice in this brew. Hmmmmm...
