3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Bier brauen (246) - Bremerton, Washington, USA - AUG 30, 2009 A decent IPA. Not quite a NW IPA, but pretty darn close. I’d call it a 50/50 mixture of British and NW IPA. Good beer.
3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 OKplus (355) - Oklahoma, USA - MAY 9, 2013
Buddy of mine brought me back a growler of this. Thanks Matt!
A - Pours a clear dark copper with a 1 finger head that sinks pretty quick.
S - Herbal and pine hops, almost smells like sweet basil, caramel malt and a touch of citrus.
T - Follows the nose, herbal and pine hops with a hint of floral, toasted caramel malt, some lemon zest, finishes with average bitterness. Some light tea tannins on the finish.
M - Heavy side of medium bodied with adequate carbonation.
A good IPA that leans towards the green herbal piney side. Good all around!

Good IPA. Nice balance of aroma and bitterness, and not to strong to stick with just one.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 snoworsummer (353) - baltimore, Maryland, USA - MAR 6, 2013

Tap. Pours hazy amber with average, creamy off-white head; decent retention and lacing. Aroma is floral, grassy, and citrus hops, dates, light fig, caramel and toasted malts, and light pine. Flavor is balanced chewy, bready malts and pine and citrus hops with some toast, fig, raisins, and light grass; dry, lightly bitter finish. Medium body and low carbonation.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 teonious (3) - Billings, Montana, USA - FEB 3, 2013 does not count
A dark golden beer with a strong aroma and taste of floral hops balanced with a caramel resin, but in no way sweet. Has a moderately high alcohol content, as well as an abrupt palate, which I rather enjoy. This is my favorite IPA available in Montana.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 beernovice39 (2777) - Montana, USA - JAN 8, 2013
Bottle pours a hazy amber with a thin off white top. Citrus and caramel nose. Taste is the same with pine.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Nickls (1654) - SE DC, Washington DC, USA - NOV 7, 2012
Bottle. Spotty lacing from an eggshell head, murky orange amber. Decently hoppy nose with citrus and slight pine notes, and mostly clean. No real sweetness in the flavor with nice grassy, citrus, and slight pine hoppiness. Medium body but the carbonation is a bit high.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 hops99 (56) - Montana, USA - OCT 2, 2012
On tap at Chico. Pours a nice clear golden/orange color with decent sized head and head retention. Smell is lighly caramelly with good piney and citrusy aroma. Tastes much the same, light caramel malt to balance out the citrusy hop flavor. This is a nice IPA, like this quite a lot.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 khoffman43 (847) - Bloomington, Minnesota, USA - SEP 24, 2012
Pours a dark copper with thin white head. Aroma is OK, very sweet with some piney hops. Taste is very sweet with very little bitterness and lacks the flavor that is promoted. Needs more hops, less fruit since it is an IPA.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Terminus (2891) - Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA - SEP 8, 2012
Bottle-sampled at Canyon lodge in Yellowstone NP September 2012-pours clear bright orange with a very small whispy white head. nose is somewhat piney, lite medicinal character and some faint fruits(not in a good way-green apples, grapes or something wierd). flavors are pretty mild for the style-some notes of pine and citrus with some off putting medicnal character. not very much character here-not enough hop punch to make this very bitter-has a very metallic finish. Of the beers available here, this seemed to be the best on the menu. I will try something else now....
