Big nectarine and citrus hop aromatics lead the broken nail off. The hop bitterness is followed with a warm finish from the strong alcohol content.

Dark copper pour with nice sized off-white head. Light citurs with more grass on the nose. Flavor is bitter hoppy citrus with grass and almost a roasted root vegetable (parsnip) flavor. Good bit of malt to balance out the hops. Decetn bitter finsih to this I2PA.

22oz bottle shared by Levi. Very clean IIPA. Filtered, light orange tan. Soapy head, steady. Restrained, but clean and enjoyable. Straightforward and classic.

Bottle - Pours light amber with a thin white ring of head. Nose is lightly sharp, a bit of garlic and a clean malt base. Taste is sweet and malty, a bit of honey, grassy/herbal hops and a sweet finish. Thin and medium-carbonated.

From 22oz bottle to shaker. Pour is a nice bright gold with a very thick and lingering white head. Taste is medium bodied, slightly bitter but mostly sweet. Nice touch of carbonation that finishes strong. I was very surprised at how sweet this was for a double IPA, great beer though.

Orangey copper with a pillowing white head. Aroma of grassy, floral hops. A bit of sediment in this bottle, i wish i knew the age. Really sweet caramel malt, not overly bitter. I had high hopes for this, I thought Bent Nail was pretty good, but this isnít for me (or isnt very fresh)

Poured into a snifter. 4.0 A: Lightly hazed bright orange color. Two and a half fingers of creamy beige head. Retention is very good and some irregular lacing is left. 4.5 S: Awesome aroma on this. Superbly flowery with tons of pineapple and followed by orange and papaya. Lightly sugary. Quite clean overall with some crystal malt and a very light biscuitiness. 4.0 T: A lot of the aroma translates into flavor, which is something that doesnít happen in a lot of IPAs. Flowery with pineapple, orange, papaya, and a bit of pine. Mild bitterness. This isnít quite as clean as the nose though. A pesky breadiness (Iím not a fan of bready IPAs) enters the scene as well as hints of yeast. Still, itís good. 4.0 M: Medium to heavier medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Reasonably creamy. Would be a bit better here if the breadiness chewiness was gone. 3.5 D: Tasty beer. After having a horrible hefe from Red Lodge, Iím glad they redeemed themselves with this. Score again Red Lodge Ales. . . Love the dry, hoppy bitterness with this exceptional brew! Very smooth.. . Taking this to the mountains!

Bottle, shared with Parksy. Hazy honey gold, medium white head that retains well and generates lace at the top. Nice piney hop aroma with good intensity. Pine resin hop flavours frame the palate, sweet bready malts underneath, good bitterness and length. Medium bodied without a lot of complexity, but a good enough hop load to keep us happy.

Pours clear orange with a frothy fading beige head. Aroma of mild grassy and floral hops with caramel malt. Taste has a sharp bitterness up front but is followed by more citrus rind and a thick caramel malt balance. Finish is medium short pine. Medium body, soft carbonation
