A complex malt recipe lends flavors reminiscent of raisin, caramel, and licorice that melt into a smooth lager finish. Best served at 48 degrees Fahrenheit. The beer’s name and artwork combines the German tradition of using goats on bock labels with Norse mythology. According to lore, two goats pulled the Norse god, Thor’s, chariot when he travelled. Each night he would eat the goats and resurrect them the following day with his magic hammer, Mjolnir.

22oz bottle to shaker. Pours a very dark copper color, thick tan head. Smell is caramel, malt, notes of licorice. Taste is slightly bitter, very sweet finish with a medium body. Very thick feel, finishes very smooth, curious what the abv is.

Clear dark amber with a short cap of head. Aroma of caramel, dark fruits and maybe a light coffee. Tastes quite sweet, some raisin is certainly there, other dark dried fruits as well. Body is quite thin, taste is a bit watery too, but no sense of alcohol for an 8% brew. Nice work.

Excellent. Probably the best beer they make, but only available seasonally, from late winter until now. Great malty aroma with raisin and molasses on the palate. Very smooth and not really a hint if the 8% alcohol. I definitely recommend!

Draft: Bronze color with a creamy tan head. Fruiy aroma with yeast and caramel. Some dark fruits appear in the flavor. Rich in maltiness, toffee, and caramel. Picking up the raisons, but not the licorice... and that’s just fine with me.
