Bottle shared by jmagnus87...thanks Josh! Pours clear amber with a thin white head. Nose is honey sweet, lots of malt--really just tons of honey. Taste is sweet honey and malt, bready with a bit of graininess. Slick and thinnish.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 cbfobes (1733) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 9, 2013
12oz bottle shared at local tasting, can’t remember who brought this, but thanks. Pours a clear amber with a thin head, the aroma and flavor was pretty much the same, nothing, a little sweet in the finish, ugh.
1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 nuplastikk (3353) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 7, 2013
Sweet agave non beer sweetness aroma. Really bad, maybe poisoned for the American beer. Brutal, way too sugary and sweet. Ouch.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 kiwianer (2462) - Mönchengladbach, GERMANY - MAY 13, 2013
The head is good, the body red-brown. It smells creamy, amber-malty. The taste is creamy, malty, but mild, later it is a little bit more intensive. Ok 11/10/10/9/12/10
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 flying_pig (635) - SCOTLAND - APR 9, 2013
330ml bottle from Lupe Pinto, Glasgow (£1.49):
Sweet malts and a light, sweet floral aroma with some caramel on top. Not very strong and quite basic but not a bad smell either.
Clear, light brown with a thin, foamy white head on top that is about a quarter centimetre tall and stays consistent.
Hop filled aroma with some floral notes and a touch of caramel from the nose, this is followed by some toasted biscuits and very light, sweet fruit flavours.
Thin and light smelling beer but an easy one to drink, there is a sweet, dry finish and carbonation is medium throughout.
Not a bad beer really, just not a great one either or all that exciting. There is a nice caramel aroma and this is present in the taste but other than that the beer is just a little bland and doesn’t have enough going for it to make you want to try it again.
2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Sigmund (4280) - Tau, NORWAY - APR 5, 2013
Shared 330 ml bottle, from Voldby Købmandsgård, Denmark. ABV is 5%. Reddish brown colour, moderate off-white head. Strong aroma of over-ripe raspberries, stale jam and dust. The flavour has notes of caramel, but is not as sweet as I feared. Drinks quite well, but unfortunately a little of the "stale jam" character of the aroma follows into the taste. Moderate hops in the finish.

33 cl bottle kindly shared by Sigmund. ABV is 5%. Clear amber orange with a medium sized fluffy beige head. Toasted tobacco, prunes and hints of oysters on the nose. Smooth, toasted, bitter creamy malts. Medium bodied.

330ml brown bottle. Red brown colour, thin beige foam. Not a lot of lacing. Sweet nose, caramel. Taste is caramelly, some grain. Faint hops at the end, grainy aftertaste. Light body, light fizz. Pretty bland.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 ccex (825) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - FEB 21, 2013
11.2 oz bottle pours a clear copper/amber color with small off-white head. Aroma is mostly malty/caramel with some floral hops and a touch of cardboard. Body is medium/light without too much carbonation. Taste is sweet with slight bitterness in the finish. Crisp mouthfeel and easily drinkable, but not too memorable.
