Feb 5, 2008 Cask (gravity filled jug) @ Smithfield Hotel & Bar, Manchester M4, UK. Clear medium amber color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, nutty, apple stewed / mash. Flavor is moderate sweet, light acidic and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. (160108)

Jan 24, 2008 A Mes rate: Cask filled jug at the Smithfield Hotel.
Mid golden brown with no head due to the juggage. Alcohol and unbrewed malt aroma. Slight apple in the flavour, a little harsh on the malt and not particularly balanced. Dry, lingering finish. So so.
